Job Title: Director of Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Carter's. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading shift operations within our facility, driving culture and engagement, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead shift operations, ensuring seamless execution of business plans and strategies.
  • Develop and implement processes to drive culture and engagement, including employee development and recognition programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions and drive results.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to direct reports, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and vendors.
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of driving culture and engagement, with a focus on employee development and recognition.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a highly automated technology environment, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in a related field, such as business, operations, or supply chain management.
  • Experience working in a large, multi-channel distribution center, with a focus on warehouse management and logistics.
  • Knowledge of Manhattan warehouse management systems (WMS), automated unit sortation, and other related technologies.
