Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Floor Associate to join our team at Goodwill IND of the Chesapeake Inc.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
  • Empty carts and racks at a quick pace
  • Place textiles and wares in appropriate areas on the sales floor
  • Maintain fresh inventory levels at the front of the store
  • Perform daily and nightly recovery of the sales floor
  • Maintain compliance with safety and housekeeping practices and expectations
  • Promote the mission and values of Goodwill

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Working Conditions:

The Sales Floor Associate will be required to regularly stand for extended periods, walk, reach with hands/arms, and lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and outside weather conditions.

Reports to: Manager on duty
