Facility Overview:

The Clinical Support Assistant (CSA) plays a vital role in enhancing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families by collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional service and assistance with daily living activities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in providing patient-centered care by performing essential tasks such as activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility support.
  • Transport medical supplies, medications, and specimens efficiently within the healthcare environment.
  • Maintain well-stocked supply areas to ensure readiness for patient care needs.
  • Engage proactively with patients and families to offer comfort and assistance, fostering a supportive atmosphere.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure safety.
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while managing multiple responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Required Minimum Education:
  • Current high school senior or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Preferred Education:
  • High school diploma or GED, with completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Required Minimum Certification:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory upon employment.

Required Minimum Skills:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; basic computer literacy is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure is crucial.
