Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment at a reputable hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing to provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in cardiovascular operating room nursing.
  • Perioperative Nursing Certification (CNOR) is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
