Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Pediatric ICU team on a casual basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Pediatric ICU
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform care decisions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of two years RN experience or equivalent combination of RN and nurse practitioner experience
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska or current compact state
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
  • Pediatric Acute (CPNP-AC) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a related healthcare field as a Physician Assistant
  • Prior pediatric experience
  • Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support (PFCCS) course
