Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare beverage outlets for service, ensuring all necessary items such as menus, condiments, and stock are readily available.
- Welcome each guest warmly, using their name when appropriate, and maintain a friendly demeanor throughout their visit.
- Understand and adhere to protocols for handling unique situations, including managing over-served guests.
- Assist guests in selecting food and drinks by providing detailed menu information and recommendations.
- Accurately relay orders to the bar and kitchen, noting any special dietary requirements or requests.
- Keep kitchen staff informed about guest counts and operational changes.
- Deliver orders efficiently from various food and beverage outlets, ensuring timely service.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about services and amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness in the bar area by clearing used items and being proactive about spills and messes.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding any important information.
- Conclude each guest's experience with gratitude and an invitation to return.
- Greet guests entering the establishment with warmth and friendliness.
- Guide guests regarding menu offerings and resort amenities.
- Anticipate guest needs and address any complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Follow portion control guidelines and adhere to all standard operating procedures.
- Complete all opening and closing tasks as required for the position.
- Ensure all service areas are stocked and ready for business throughout the day.
- Prepare and serve beverages as requested, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and timely delivery of orders.
- Preferred experience includes 3 years in bartending and 2 years in hospitality.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to fifty pounds safely.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perform various physical tasks, including bending and reaching.
Compensation - $16 per hour
