Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Teleconferencing Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Unified Communications and Video Conferencing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Unified Communications and Video Conferencing systems
  • Configure and maintain Voice and Video Conferencing Systems
  • Lead delivery efforts at customer locations
  • Assess vulnerabilities and maintain security compliance of Voice and Video Conferencing Systems
  • Provide support for customer scheduled and unplanned outages
  • Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced VC/UC personnel
  • Serve as the point of escalation support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians
  • Plan and configure systems for user environments
  • Support the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services
Requirements
  • 10+ years of related experience in network analysis and design
  • Extensive experience with AV VTC equipment and certified programmer for all services involving changing or reprogramming any source code for control equipment
  • Cisco Unified Communications Systems, QoS Quality of Service, Cisco Unity Connection, VCS Streaming Video, Cisco Video devices, Crestron and Codex VTC units, Microsoft Teams and other Collaboration tools
  • Video teleconferencing certification
  • Strong background with Cisco Meeting Server, VQ Conference Manager, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and/or Microsoft Teams
  • Managed virtualized applications or knowledge of how to manage virtualized applications
