This is a full-time position with $65,000 - $75,000 per year salary based in the United States. The estimated range may vary depending on location and experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant to join our team. As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our Escrow Officers in preparing and coordinating closing transactions between loan establishments, sellers, borrowers, and real estate agents.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing support to the Escrow Officers by performing duties such as file setup, scheduling, coordinating with other departments, file monitoring, customer contact, and backup in the absence of the Escrow Officer.

You will also conduct closing transactions as a neutral third party, compile loan documents, title research, and Real Estate Agent instructions. Additionally, you will answer questions from buyers and sellers regarding transaction details and obtain signatures from principal parties on necessary documents.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and we require individuals who can think critically and make sound decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides support to the Escrow Officers in preparing and coordinating closing transactions.
  • Conducts closing transactions as a neutral third party.
  • Compiles loan documents, title research, and Real Estate Agent instructions.
  • Answers questions from buyers and sellers regarding transaction details.
  • Obtains signatures from principal parties on necessary documents.
  • Develops and executes a system for clerical duties and file coordination that adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Complies with TitleOne Corporation escrow trust accounting standards.
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

We require a minimum of one year of experience in escrow/closing. A complete knowledge and understanding of real estate contracts are also essential.

Excellent telephone and email etiquette, customer relations, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are also required.

A good understanding of Windows, Microsoft, and paperless production software is necessary. Familiarity with closing statements/disclosures, lender requirements, and commitment for title insurance is also required.
