Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide professional care and health screening to pre-procedural patients and their families at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, initiate and follow established protocols to ensure optimal patient care.
- Review patient medical records, diagnostic results, and scheduled procedures to prepare patients for surgery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care, including Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, PCPs, and Nursing staff.
- Provide patient education, interpret diagnostic results, and recommend treatment options to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Full-time position with flexible scheduling options.
- Credentialing: St. Francis Medical Center.
- Average patient load: 12-15 patients per day.
- Patient base: Outpatient services.
- Required qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a family, adult, or acute care nurse practitioner.
