We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at Springfield Memorial Hospital. As a Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Telemetry unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry unit.
- Current RN license in the state of Illinois.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
