About the Position: We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice. As a member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, advance your career, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate X-ray machines, CT scanners, and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to interpret images and make recommendations for further testing or treatment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards and radiation safety protocols.


Requirements:
  • Certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
  • Current licensure in Texas as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in radiography or a related field.


Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
