Your Role as a Caregiver
As a caregiver, you will assist clients with a range of daily activities in their homes, including:
- Adhering to all scheduled visits in compliance with company policies and state regulations
- Creating a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere for clients during your visits
- Reporting any changes in clients' health status to the office
- Engaging with clients throughout your visit, providing feedback, and completing necessary documentation
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Helping with mobility, transfers, and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) like light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Maintaining client confidentiality with the utmost professionalism
- Delivering exceptional care that aligns with our high standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home and community care, patient care, and senior care
- Knowledgeable in HIPAA regulations and caregiving best practices
- Prior experience in delivering home care services
- Strong skills in assisted living and Alzheimer's care
- Physical capability to work with individuals in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and hospice care
- Relevant experience in cleaning, cooking, and medical documentation
