About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Retail Eyewear Consultant to join our team in Menomonie, WI. As an Optical Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient and customer service in the selection, ordering, and dispensing of eyewear.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for advancement and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional patient and customer service according to company and Optical Center standards
  2. Analyze patient eyewear needs and recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to satisfy patient needs
  3. Process medical billing information and prepare work orders containing specific instructions for Optical Lab
  4. Ensure proper merchandising of frame inventory

Minimum Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Maintain license as required by state
  • Previous experience in an office and/or optical dispensing is preferred
  • Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time
