Job Summary

Gordon Aluminum Industries INC is seeking a highly skilled Material Mover/Inventory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting of inventory, processing, recording, and distributing supplies and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize dispatch systems to pull materials for outgoing jobs.
  • Operate industrial powered vehicles to retrieve materials from inventory shelving.
  • Inspect and pack materials according to established requirements.
  • Transport materials to various locations within the facility to support workflow.
  • Stock materials when not required for shipping.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform all work-related tasks in compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding safety and standards of workplace behavior.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Language skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
  • Reasoning ability, including the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
Work Environment

The Material Mover/Inventory Technician will work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, and extreme heat. Hearing protection is required.
