Prosthetist and Orthotist Clinician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Prosthetist and Orthotist Clinician to join our team at Hanger Clinic. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional prosthetic and orthotic care to our patients.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and experienced Prosthetist and Orthotist to join our team. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop treatment plans to meet their individual needs
  • Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices to ensure optimal function and comfort
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on the use and care of prosthetic and orthotic devices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC)
  • A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics
  • A valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
  • In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure may be required as well
