Aircraft Mechanic Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at the Air National Guard Units.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, modify, and service aircraft systems, components, and assemblies.
  • Use hand tools and test equipment to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Instruct lower graded mechanics on crash damaged engine and component repair.

Requirements:

  • Must have 18 months experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Must be skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment.
  • Must be able to instruct lower graded mechanics.

Military Requirements: Service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements.
