Nighttime Nursing Care Specialist

At Benchmark Senior Living, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents in a warm and comfortable environment.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our overnight shifts run from 11 pm to 7 am, allowing you to balance your work schedule with your personal life.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our overnight team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of like-minded individuals who share a passion for delivering exceptional care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
- Assess, communicate, and document resident status accurately and effectively
- Report any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director as required by state regulations
- Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants
- Closely mentor and guide Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job
- Coordinate care needs with community providers through an effective case management process
- Effectively balance service demands with supporting resident independence
- Recognize and assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and report to appropriate sources as required by state regulations
Requirements:
- Current state license as an LPN or RN and CPR certification
- Graduate of an approved LPN or RN program (per state requirements)
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
