We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular surgery team at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. The selected candidate will be employed by MemorialCare Medical Group and will play a crucial role in the global management of patients undergoing cardiothoracic, vascular, or aortic surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising surgeon in the operating room and provide peri-operative care to patients.
- Participate in aortic clinic, endovascular vein harvesting, and first assist in the O.R.
- Provide patient care expertise in the postoperative acute care units, step-down units, and regular floors.
- Fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery is a plus.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Board-certified by the NCCPA.
- Unrestricted California medical license (or eligible).
- DEA ACLS/BLS.
