A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REGISTERED NURSE - PRE/POST OPERATIVE CAREAs a Registered Nurse in our surgical facilities, you will have numerous opportunities to engage with and care for surgical patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for their procedures
- Monitoring patients throughout their surgical experience
- Administering sedation as necessary
- Assisting physicians during surgical procedures
- Discharging patients once they meet the required criteria
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility to apply
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and staff
- Capability to make swift assessments of patients and manage emergency situations appropriately
This position requires availability Monday through Friday during operational hours of the surgery center, with hours varying based on the surgical schedule.
