The Store Operations Leader plays a pivotal role in steering key operational facets, including Front End Management, Convenience Store Operations, Facility Oversight, Labor Scheduling, Pricing and Inventory Management, Project Coordination, and Loss Prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coach, and mentor your team to ensure exemplary execution and customer service.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of personalized development plans for each team member.
  • Ensure staffing aligns with budgetary constraints while meeting customer demands. Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and manage the performance of all team members.
  • Monitor and manage store wage and expense control initiatives.
  • Work alongside the General Manager and human resources to identify budget discrepancies and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Oversee adherence to cash management policies and procedures.
  • Implement, audit, and manage the Fleet Rewards Visa, Store Credit Card, and Loyalty Program.
  • Provide support and guidance for customer-related concerns as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Loss Prevention Lead to minimize shrinkage through education and compliance.
  • Promote the Fleet Farm customer loyalty program, credit card, and other corporate initiatives positively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a large retail environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and foster relationships in a dynamic setting.
  • Capability to motivate a diverse team, including both full-time and part-time members.
  • Proven track record of decisive action in implementing solutions, planning, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and adapting to change.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
