Host - Gridiron Gastropub

As a Host at the Gridiron Gastropub, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your role will involve warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, and efficiently coordinating seating arrangements to ensure smooth service flow.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Address guest needs and requests promptly, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless operations and achieve service standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols and local regulations.
• Execute tasks efficiently, prioritizing accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
• Address any issues or concerns during service promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Engage with guests in a polite and respectful manner, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints with a focus on resolution, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training sessions and stay informed about menu changes and policies, continuously improving skills and knowledge relevant to your role.

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year host experience, preferably in full-service environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.
• Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance, working quickly without compromising quality.
• Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality.
• Proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite and other Point of Sales Systems.
