Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Zedent. As a key member of our dental support staff, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures, taking and developing dental radiographs, managing patient records, educating patients on oral hygiene strategies, preparing and maintaining dental instruments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist with a variety of treatments, including fillings, extractions, and cleanings.
  • Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (x-rays).
  • Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of all treatments and appointments.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and demonstrate effective brushing and flossing methods.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
  • Provide excellent chair-side assistance to the dentist, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and events to promote oral health awareness and education.

Requirements

  • CPR certification
  • Radiograph certification
