Job Responsibilities

  • Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy.
  • Position patients effectively for scans, utilizing necessary immobilization and protective measures.
  • Adjust equipment settings and monitor both the equipment and patient during procedures.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging tasks, including starting IVs and administering contrast agents.
  • Evaluate the quality of CT images and ensure proper labeling and sequencing.
  • Manage patient scheduling and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Imaging Specialist.
  • Current ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
  • Licensure may be necessary in various states.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
