Culinary Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Holly Nursing Care Center. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities, adhering to established recipes and menu plans.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies and ingredients as needed.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience for our residents.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior care setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
