Soliant Education is actively seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time resource role. This position is designed to provide focused instruction to small groups of students, assisting them in meeting their Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to small groups of students within a resource setting.
- Craft and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
- Provide targeted interventions and support to facilitate student progress towards their IEP objectives.
- Collaborate with general education staff and other educational professionals to enhance student success and integration.
- Evaluate and monitor student performance, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and engage in regular communication with families.
- Foster a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere that encourages both academic and personal development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification and licensure in Special Education.
- Proven experience in providing instruction to small groups and individualized support in a special education context.
- Strong capability in developing and managing IEPs effectively.
