Urologist Physician

Black Owl Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join the ASC Team of a reputable client in Forest Hills, NY.

• Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and diagnose urological conditions.
• Treatment and Management: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and perform urological procedures and surgeries.
• Surgical Duties: Perform both open and minimally invasive surgical procedures, use advanced techniques and technology, and monitor post-surgical recovery.
• Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures, and provide counseling on lifestyle changes and follow-up care.
• Collaboration and Referrals: Work closely with other medical professionals, refer patients to other specialists or for additional testing when necessary, and maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Residency: Completed a residency in urology.
• Licensure: Board certification in urology and state medical licensure.
• Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, proficiency in surgical techniques, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands: The role may involve standing for long periods, performing precise surgical procedures, and occasionally lifting or moving patients.
