Job Title: CAD Technician

At Davis Bowen Friedel, we are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production of infrastructure design, enhancing, maintaining, and protecting the communities we work, live, and play in.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize latest design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs.
  • Perform analysis and calculations according to project requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineers and surveyors regarding model accuracy, drafting standards, and design documentation.
  • Prepare project documentation for client submittal.
  • Provide timely technical assistance.
  • Handle multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • High-school diploma or GED.
  • Four (4) years of experience with basic site design, including grading and drainage, utilities, and erosion control design.
  • Two (2) years of direct work utilizing Carlson Precision 3D, or Civil 3D, and construction drawing preparation.
