Position: Mobile Crisis Response Specialist (Per-Diem/On-Call)

Community Care Alliance is seeking a per-diem professional to join an innovative program dedicated to addressing crises within the community. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team, including program directors, law enforcement, first responders, clinicians, case managers, peer specialists, and community mental health workers. This community-based crisis intervention represents a progressive approach to managing mental health and substance use emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in rapid response initiatives to stabilize individuals in crisis.
  • Facilitate connections within the community to reduce reliance on emergency services.
  • Provide assessments and resources to support individuals in distress.

Schedule:
This is a 24/7 program, offering flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends. Opportunities for overnight on-call shifts are available, compensated at a competitive flat hourly rate, along with additional fees for community-based assessments based on qualifications. Per-diem staff should be prepared to commit to at least two shifts monthly.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Applicants should embody a trauma-informed, client-centered approach and demonstrate respect for diverse perspectives.
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
