Position Overview:
This role involves serving as an educator for the Paramedicine degree program, with ongoing assignments contingent upon program requirements and funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in emergency medical services agency operations, management, and leadership roles.

  • Skill in delivering content in both traditional and online educational settings.

  • Collaborate effectively with representatives from EMS agencies to achieve program objectives and educational outcomes.
  • Operate under the guidance of the Paramedicine Program Director.
  • Prepare laboratory settings for classes and assist in the cleanup following lab sessions.
  • Serve as a laboratory instructor during practical sessions.
  • Demonstrate the safe and appropriate use of laboratory equipment and hazardous materials.
  • Provide leadership and serve as a positive role model for students.
  • Participate in annual program meetings.
  • Engage in the evaluation of student learning and contribute to annual reporting.
  • Maintain accurate student and course documentation.
  • Keep current course outlines, objectives, and grading criteria organized and accessible.
  • Exhibit innovative and flexible teaching methodologies.
  • Offer continuing education opportunities for the community.
  • Complete all required training sessions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
