Job Overview:
Brilliant Financial Search is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Director to oversee our client's financial operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, tax filings, and audits.
  2. Consolidate financials for global entities.
  3. Prepare materials for senior management and assist in evaluating strategic actions and key financial decisions.
  4. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing business process and technology enhancements to increase efficiency.
  5. Assist in the creation of financial models and collaborate with Operations to ensure alignment with performance goals.
  6. Support month-end closings, including account reconciliations and the preparation of financial reporting packages.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or Master's/MBA is a plus. 6+ years of finance and accounting experience, ideally within an accounting firm and a manufacturing/distribution environment. Strong understanding of financial management, reporting, and audits. Practical experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications and ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred). Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
