Key Responsibilities- Observe and assess patient health status, conducting physical assessments and examinations as needed.
- Initiate treatments and medications, emergency and resuscitative measures, based on provider orders, standing orders, and protocols.
- Administer therapeutic measures, such as medication treatments, intravenous fluids, and oxygen therapy, as prescribed by medical or surgical providers.
- Record patient observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Provide specialized knowledge and skills to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients undergoing procedures.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- One (1) year of Registered Nurse experience.
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state or territory.
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), depending on unit assignment.
- Experience working in emergency, intensive care, or obstetrics units.
- Specialized certifications, such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
