Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Cincinnati/Northern KY Area. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiological and fluoroscopic equipment, preparing patients for radiologic procedures, and protecting patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiological and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including positioning and instructing patients on how to hold still
  • Protect patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards by following safety protocols and guidelines
  • Read patients' charts and relay physician orders to other staff members
  • Maintain all radiographic files completely and accurately
  • Comply with safety standards, OSHA, and HIPAA
  • Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment
  • Maintain radiographic supplies, film, and order as necessary
  • Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment
  • Perform all imaging exams according to provider protocols
Requirements
  • Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state
  • Associates degree in Radiological Technology from an accredited Radiology Technology program
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred
