Responsibilities

• Finishing Department:
  • Prepare products for staining or painting.
  • Apply stains using hand wiping methods or through spray lines/booths.
  • Package, label, and prepare finished products for delivery.
• Milling Department:
  • Receive and record lumber inventory.
  • Rip lumber to specific dimensions for molding processes.
  • Operate milling and sanding equipment to create finished millwork pieces.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in using and reading a tape measure.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving fractions.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying problems and making sound decisions based on objectives, risks, implications, and costs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to adhering to established procedures and safety protocols.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality craftsmanship.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in construction, carpentry, millwork, or finishing.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as commercial woodworking machinery.
