Taxation Counsel

Position Overview
The selected candidate will operate under the general supervision of the Board Member, providing expert legal counsel on issues related to the California State Board of Equalization (BOE). This role involves assisting the Board Member in fulfilling constitutional obligations associated with the administration, development, coordination, and communication of tax initiatives and the enforcement of California tax regulations.
The incumbent will also engage in legal and legislative matters pertinent to the Board Member's constitutional responsibilities and the various programs administered by the BOE.

Telework Opportunities
In accordance with Government Code 14200, this position may offer eligibility for full or part-time telecommuting for candidates residing in California.
Working Environment
