Squad Leader, Legacy Recordkeeping

The Squad Leader, Legacy Recordkeeping will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Stock Plan Services (SPS) Mainframe team. As a seasoned professional with a passion for delivering results, you will partner with other leaders to influence strategic decisions, define resource requirements, and bring the squad together to execute on specific results.
Key Responsibilities- Define and Communicate the Squad's Mission: Clearly articulate the team's objectives and vision to squad members and business partners, empowering them to rally behind the mission.
- Anticipate and Prioritize Client Needs: Serve as the voice of the client, guiding the squad to deliver results that meet their expectations.
- Measure and Evaluate Performance: Establish critical metrics to measure success and deliver business, technology, and people results.
- Inspect and Evaluate Progress: Identify and remove impediments to squad progress, ensuring the team stays on track.
- Define and Present Results: Clearly communicate results against agreed-upon acceptance criteria, making informed trade-off decisions to balance quality, cost, and timelines.
- 5-10 Years of Experience: Proven track record in product management, systems development, product development, and/or project/product management.
- Financial Services Experience: Preferred background in financial services, with a deep understanding of the industry.
- Agile Experience: Familiarity with agile methodologies and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Platform Modernization: Experience with platform modernization, with a focus on driving innovation and improvement.
- Data-Driven Approach: A data-driven approach to understanding client needs, with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
- Leadership and Influence: Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate colleagues without formal authority, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Continuous Improvement: A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on learning, coaching, and driving results.
