Mainframe Rehosting Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Rehosting Architect to join our team at National Computer Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mainframe rehosting solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mainframe rehosting solutions using Rehost tools such as Microfocus, Raincode, and Tmaxsoft.
  • Conduct assessments of applications and provide recommendations for target platforms, architecture, and effort estimation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in mainframe technology and rehosting projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Rehost tools and mainframe rehosting projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong understanding of mainframe rehosting concepts, including componentization, rearchitecting, and re-engineering.
