Familiarity with HACCP standards is highly advantageous. As a unique wholesale entity, we cater exclusively to business clients, making exceptional customer service skills essential for daily interactions.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move 50 lb cases and work in a refrigerated environment. A flexible schedule is necessary, as operations run seven days a week. We offer a competitive salary along with benefits, a 401k plan, and a bonus program.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight:
  • Oversee daily operations of picking and loading within a cold storage facility.
  • Ensure precise execution of processes to achieve operational objectives, addressing the unique challenges of cold storage.
Leadership Development:
  • Inspire and guide supervisors and warehouse personnel, cultivating a culture of teamwork, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
  • Provide coaching and support to address performance challenges and promote professional development.
Performance Monitoring:
  • Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess productivity and efficiency within the distribution center's cold storage operations.
  • Identify trends and areas for enhancement, developing actionable plans for improvement.
Inventory Coordination:
  • Work closely with the Logistics team to manage inventory levels, track stock movement, and minimize carrying costs, considering cold storage constraints.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, particularly in the cold storage environment.
  • Foster a safe workplace by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular training sessions.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Actively seek opportunities to boost operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction within cold storage.
  • Implement best practices, technological advancements, and automation to enhance processes.
