Job Opportunity

At the National Safety Council, we're dedicated to eliminating preventable deaths and injuries. As a part-time instructor, you'll play a crucial role in teaching adult and teen-focused classroom courses on safe driving practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach life-saving defensive driving course curriculum to a variety of motorists
  • Lead effective classroom discussions and handle diverse student groups
  • Deal with unexpected difficulties such as equipment failures and disruptions to class
  • Work weekends, weekdays, and evenings, with flexibility to choose own schedule

Requirements:

  • Experience in public speaking and teaching
  • Background in sociology, psychology, counseling, or education
  • Ability to handle unexpected difficulties and disruptions
  • Bilingual in English & Portuguese (preferred)
