Job Summary:

Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist - Mammography to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography exams using digital mammography equipment
  • Position patients correctly and ensure proper imaging techniques
  • Develop and process radiographic images
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a two-year Radiology Technology program approved by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the American Registry of Radiology Technologists
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology (mammo) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a hospital setting with exposure to radiation
  • Stand for long periods and lift patients as needed
