**About the Role**

We are seeking a qualified Bus Transportation Specialist to join our team at Monroe County Schools. As a key member of our transportation department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school, as well as on special events and field trips.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport students on assigned routes and special events
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including mileage and maintenance
  • Collaborate with other drivers and transportation staff to ensure seamless service
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation needs and concerns
  • Stay up-to-date on local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • CDL Class B with P and S endorsement required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Estimated Salary:** $52,000 - $62,000 per year
