About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Event Staff Associate to join our team at Hall of Fame Village. As a key member of our Events and Operations Teams, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences during various events held at our venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Set up and tear down event spaces, including moving tables, chairs, and other furniture.
  • Operate ticket scanners at gates and assist with crowd control.
  • Usher guests to their seats and provide directions as needed.
  • Work as a parking attendant, concessions attendant, merchandise attendant, or guest services provider as required.
  • Operate elevators and provide assistance to guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Must be a flexible and reliable team player with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in events, operations, or hospitality is desired.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Strong team skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.
  • Ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.
  • Must be able to hear, see, and speak clearly.
  • Ability to smile and make eye contact with guests, vendors, and other employees.
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.
  • Manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, and walk for periods of time as required for the position.
