The Senior Clinical Quality Analyst plays a pivotal part in elevating clinical quality performance through intricate data analysis and reporting. This position encompasses the development of sophisticated data systems, high-level analyses for improving healthcare quality metrics, and collaboration with various teams to support regulatory and accreditation compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute complex data analyses to inform business decisions and drive quality improvement initiatives">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet regulatory and accreditation requirements">
  • Design, build, and enhance data systems and applications to support high-quality analytics and reporting">
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy">
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and maintain data visualizations and reports that communicate key findings and recommendations">
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in clinical quality analytics and informatics">
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and standards for data management and analytics">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • A bachelor's degree in health science, quantitative social science, public health, health services research, or business, or equivalent experience">
  • At least 2 years of SAS/SQL programming experience">
  • At least 2 years of Tableau or Power BI development and visualization management">
  • At least 5 years of prior operational and/or data analysis experience, experience in database structures, and standard query and reporting tools">
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint">
  • Experience working with NCQA HEDIS quality measures, CMS Medicare Advantage Star Rating, and Medi-Cal Managed Care Accountability Sets (MCAS)">
  • Tableau certifications preferred">
  • Mastery of at least two of the following: clinical coding, large-scale health databases, health statistics (e.g., epidemiology or health services), health insurance business principles">
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills">
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines">
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders">

Compensation

">

The estimated salary range for this role is $99,000 - $148,500 per year, based on location and experience.
