We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner/ Server Assistant to join our team at Reverence, a high-end, reservation-only luxury restaurant. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience.
  • Set tables, serve food orders, and remove used plate ware and utensils in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with food running, carrying plates that may be warm or hot, and handle station duties as needed.
  • Polish glassware, utensils, and organize clean and soiled linen to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform other duties as management requests to ensure exceptional service to our guests.
  • Follow Covid-19 guidelines and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualification Standards

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or higher.
  • Previous hospitality experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to use technology, such as tablets and iPads.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Corrected vision to normal range.
  • Ability to work long hours as needed.
  • Ability to navigate steps to upstairs event space and upstairs deck.
