Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Merchandise Associate to join our sales floor team at Marshalls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a positive store culture.
  • Support and participate in store recovery, maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor.
  • Accurately ring customer purchases/returns, count change back to customers, and promote credit and loyalty programs.
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy, following established merchandising procedures and standards.
  • Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, adhering to company procedures and standards.
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, strong communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, respond to changes in direction, and lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors, and possesses a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

This position has a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour, with actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
