We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our senior living community in Bala Cynwyd, PA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the residence, ensuring the highest level of quality care and service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and maintain budgeted occupancy and improve community operations.
- Lead and manage a team of department managers to ensure the success of the residence and provide direction and leadership to staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards, as well as LCB Senior Living policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement quality improvement processes, strategic planning, and environmental safety programs to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
- Manage community outreach and liaison networks with industry partners to identify and partner with local service resources.
- Ensure associates are given the necessary resources to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
- Implement operating and financial controls required under community and LCB Senior Living policy.
- Ensure proper planning and implementation of staff orientation and training.
- Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with all departments to eliminate problem areas and improve services.
- Ensure completion of timely associate reviews and administer counselling efforts, retraining, and corrective action fairly and in accordance with community and LCB Senior Living policies.
- Review resident complaints and grievances and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- Oversight of all record-keeping functions within the facility, including those records necessary to disclose fully the services provided.
- Ensure all required staffing, schedules, and backup coverage for staff are met at all times.
- Conduct and/or attend required in-service training and orientation, as per state regulation.
- Computer skills: Demonstrates computer literacy and familiarity with office software, including word processing, spreadsheet, database managers, and presentation software.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities: The ability to handle multiple priorities, develop a cohesive management team, direct the overall operation of the residence, and make business decisions on a daily basis as required.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in human service management, housing management, and/or nursing home management is helpful.
- Experience: Shall, at a minimum, be at least 25 years of age and must have demonstrated administrative experience and supervisory management skills.
- Certificates/Licenses: Certificates or education as required by State/Federal regulatory agencies, if applicable. Rhode Island requires an Assisted Living Administrators License and CPR and First Aid Training. Valid Driver's License required.
