We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our Cancer Center team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical support to our practitioners and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities- Assist practitioners in the performance of procedures and patient care
- Function clinically under the direction of practitioners
- Perform other duties as requested by the Office Coordinator and BFS operations Director
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and smooth office flow
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician's office
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Certified Medical Asst (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required within 90 days of hire
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take direction
- Flexibility to cover for vacations and earned time absences
- Experience in basic office skills
- Data entry skills
- Working knowledge of Windows based PC applications
- Experience in scheduling, procedures, etc.
