Job Title: Radiographer/CT Technologist

Valor Health is seeking a skilled Radiographer/CT Technologist to join our team in Emmett, Idaho. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures on patients of all ages, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in radiologic technology, with experience in computed tomography and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient flow and provide accurate diagnostic imaging results.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures on patients, adhering to established protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of requested exams to assist radiologists and referring providers.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment, instruments, and supplies pertinent to high-quality exams.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure efficient patient care and accurate diagnostic results.
Requirements:
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with an Associate's degree in Radiology or higher.
  • Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Preferred experience of two years in a hospital setting.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
Working Environment:

This is a general patient care environment, requiring standing for long periods, lifting or turning patients, bending, twisting, and sitting. Possible exposure to body fluids and radiation.
