Position: Quality Engineer II
OBJECTIVE:
To enhance and streamline the quality assurance management framework to ensure optimal fulfillment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and uphold the quality assurance management framework across all divisions
- Guarantee adherence to documentation protocols and client platforms
- Provide regular updates on quality assurance status
- Implement measures for error reduction
- Develop and sustain advanced assessment and measurement systems for quality assurance
- Deliver proactive customer support and perform audits
- Oversee the quality of procured components
- Ensure compliance with relevant certification standards
- Enhance quality planning processes for designated projects
- Act as the quality representative in project discussions and address quality-related concerns
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline
- 7+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing sector
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Familiarity with plastics, process technologies, and quality management frameworks
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Proficient in IT applications such as Microsoft Office and SAP
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work is conducted in office, laboratory, or manufacturing environments
- Physical activities may involve sitting, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Adherence to safety protocols is essential
