Salary & BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is around $85,000 - $110,000, depending on location and experience. Our competitive salary and benefits package also includes opportunities for professional development and growth.
Job DescriptionAs an ER Nurse, you will promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Your responsibilities will include performing plan of care intervention, documenting patient care given, and collaborating with other disciplines to coordinate patient care.
Responsibilities- Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process
- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration and clinical treatments
- Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Making staff assignments and shift hand-off
- Counting narcotics and checking crash carts
- Managing disposition of expirations within ER/Crash carts
- Checking negative pressure rooms and equipment
- Managing discharge call backs and reviewing cultures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- At least one year of emergency room experience
- A Registered Nurse license in good standing
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Additionally, you should possess critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
