The Senior Manager of Solution Engineering will oversee all facets of server rack integration operations. This position requires effective management of a dedicated team, collaboration with various departments, and ensuring the smooth integration of server racks aligned with organizational objectives and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
Below are the essential duties and responsibilities associated with this role:
- Directs daily operational support for Cluster, Storage, HPC, and Cloud infrastructures.
- Develops and tests Cloud/HPC or AI solutions through in-house and onsite testing, deployment, and platforms tailored to meet customer specifications.
- Documents intricate testing and troubleshooting protocols related to server, network, and cluster software and hardware.
- Diagnoses hardware and software challenges, providing timely resolutions.
- Implements cluster/storage infrastructures and conducts corresponding tests.
- Performs tests and benchmarks on server hardware, storage, network, applications, HPC, and Machine Learning workflows.
- Collects, visualizes, and analyzes testing and benchmarking data.
- Produces technical documentation, including test reports and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Manages project budgets, controls expenditures, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in HPC/AI or Cloud/Network management.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cloud/HPC deployment and testing methodologies.
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines.
- Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications such as CCNA, AWS, COA, or RHCE are advantageous.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, effective time management, and strong interpersonal skills are highly valued.
